Danelle Funk is a State Licensed and Nationally Registered Occupational Therapist, with over 20 years experience in pediatrics within the school district system, private clinics, and in-home therapy. She has experience with children of all ages, including those who qualify for special education services as well as those who do not. Danelle’s clinical experience spans a broad range of symptoms from mild to severe dysfunction including anxiety, depression, OCD, developmental disorders, cerebral palsy, Autism Spectrum, ADD/ADHD, traumatic brain injury, migraines and headaches, seizure disorders, learning disabilities, fine motor and visual motor difficulties, and retained primitive reflexes. This experience has translated well across the lifespan, helping adults who are wanting to function more optimally in all areas of life.
In times where she is not helping clients with their Neurofeedback training or OT, Danelle continues to work for a private pediatric practice in Loomis, CA, or spend time at home in her art studio to do laser-cut designs and jewelry-making. For the last several years, she has enjoyed teaching art classes, farm science, raising chickens and homeschooling her kids. She and her family reside in Auburn, CA.
TUTORING SERVICES
Danelle is currently a vendor for Feather River, Clarksville, South Sutter, and Forest Charter Schools. These vendor services are provided as tutoring services only for general education students who do not have an IEP, but need extra support in visual motor, fine motor, handwriting, critical thinking, or learning challenges. It is important to note that these charter programs are unable to provide direct occupational therapy for students in their system. The tutoring fee is $60 per hour, (individually or in small groups as appropriate), available by appointment only, whereas Occupational Therapy and Neurofeedback therapy specifically will require private payment outside of charter funding.
